APC proudly served as the Title Sponsor for the Inaugural Middle Georgia Honor Flight Golf Tournament, “Golfing for Veterans”. This tournament benefitted the Middle Georgia Honor Flight at Southern Hills Golf Club in Hawkinsville.
Even with the inclement weather, the APC golf team took third place and helped support the impactful mission of the Middle Georgia Honor Flight: To enable United States veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam era wars – as well as any terminally ill veteran – to visit the memorials of armed conflict in Washington DC – at no cost to the veterans. This mission is accomplished through the generosity of local volunteers and sponsors who give what they can to provide this unique experience to the men and women who have proudly served our country.
