This may involve mechanical testing, microscopy, and other laboratory analysis techniques. We are seeking highly motivated mid-level composite manufacturing engineers to join our team. As a part of our team, you will be involved in supporting various government aircraft programs, contributing to the future and capabilities of medal bonding and composites. Experience related to fabrication, cure, and analysis of fiber reinforced resin systems such as polyimides, bezoxazines, phthalonitriles, bismaleimides or cyanate esters, etc. is required.In general, the candidate should be capable of: Defining requirements for materials, parts and processes used in the manufacture of products. Leading set up for production of specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts and processes. Promotes standardization across business activities. Evaluates emerging technologies for potential application to the processes. Lead in development and qualification of new and existing materials, parts and processes to meet requirements. Make recommendations on integrating new technologies as appropriate. Manage processes and programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements. Conducts complex analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. Implements corrective and preventive actions.
