Metal Bonding Engineer (level 1)

The applicant must have a military background or some direct experience in metal bond engineering. Tasks include performing test and evaluation of metal and composite materials. This may involve mechanical testing, microscopy, and other laboratory analysis techniques. We are seeking highly motivated entry-level composite manufacturing engineers to join our team. As a part of our team, you will be involved in supporting various government aircraft programs, contributing to the future and capabilities of medal bonding and composites. Experience related to fabrication, cure, and analysis of fiber reinforced resin systems such as polyimides, bezoxazines, phthalonitriles, bismaleimides or cyanate esters, etc. is required.In general, the candidate should be capable of:  understanding requirements for materials, parts and processes used in the manufacture of products. Candidate should be able to work with the set up for production, and writing of specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts and processes. Promotes standardization across business activities.  Work with emerging technologies for potential application to the processes. Assist in the development and qualification of new and existing materials, parts and processes to meet requirements. Make recommendations on integrating new technologies as appropriate. Work processes and programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements. Assist with analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
