We are constantly looking for energetic, trustworthy and dedicated professionals to join our team.We have a contingent full time position open for an experienced Industrial Process Engineer (Level 1) to support a Government contract at Robins AFB, Georgia.Advanced Project Consulting, (APC) is seeking an Industrial Process Engineer to join our team.  APC is dedicated to providing the highest quality service to multiple government programs and aircraft. Our team, including mechanical, electrical and process engineers is at the forefront of modern technology. Job DescriptionProcess Engineers at APC are responsible for evaluating and improving processes. This role will document, recommend, and implement process upgrades based on a combination of industrial data analysis and process reviews. Responsibilities include developing, designing and documenting working processes for repair and production of aircraft equipment.The systems in scope for this position may include; programmable logic controllers (PLCs), three phase motors and AC/DC drives, variable frequency drive configurations, servo systems operating with multiple axis, industrial equipment networks and protocols, human machine interfaces, and other various human and electromechanical production line arrangements. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.Job RequirementsA Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringThis is an entry level position and requires a background in military processes or some industrial engineering experience in a medium or heavy industrial environment.  Experience with process engineering, preferably in sheet metal, metal bounding and composites I s preferred.A strong desire to follow projects and processes from conceptualization to implementation and upkeep.The ability to follow instructions by working with leadership in the other relevant engineering, maintenance, and production groups.Develop, evaluate and improve bill of materials, structures, drawings, and routings for new/existing products.Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.Help design, procure and implements tooling and fixtures for new or existing products.Develop, evaluate and improve procedures and work instructions.Participate in the implementation and utilization of the lean/six sigma manufacturing processes.Work with the overall implementations of equipment projects.The aptitude and desire necessary to excel in a processes, equipment, and procedures improvement culture.Clearance/Security:  Successful candidates must pass a background investigation, drug screening and government security investigation. Travel:  Travel is not required for this position.Relocation: Not provided
